Designing Reliability
A network based on punctuality
How can you make a network 90% punctual? With our Gemini Cooperation, we have reduced port calls and focused on stability – to avoid bottlenecks and dovetail connections. “We’ve fundamentally shifted from selling capacity to selling certainty,” says Anders Boenaes, who’s been part of the Gemini Cooperation from the very beginning.
At the same time, the processes in place were put to the test. “We’ve built a new operational mindset that makes us more resilient and capable of handling complexity at scale,” Boenaes continues. “Gemini became a catalyst for operational innovation – reimagining cargo routings, allocations and renomination processes.”

More than a year after its launch, it’s clear that the Gemini network works – even with all the stress surrounding the Suez Canal. Customers report that better schedule adherence has enabled them to plan more reliably, thereby reducing their risks and overall costs. But that’s just the beginning. “Now we’re fine-tuning the network and using data to manage it in an even more forward-looking way,” Boenaes says.
In 2025, Gemini Cooperation achieved a schedule reliability of:

“We learned that supply-chain efficiency is all about having a network architecture that absorbs disruption without breaking. What I love most is the predictability we’ve built into an inherently unpredictable industry. Gemini has delivered 90%+ schedule reliability from day one and proved its resilience under real-world disruption.”
